UNJSPF Pilots SureMark to Strengthen Trust in Executive Communications

As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency and digital trust, the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) has launched a pilot with SureMark Digital to help the public independently verify official messages and announcements.

This solution enables the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive of Pension Administration to digitally sign their communications using verified SureMark credentials. The public can instantly confirm authenticity using the SureMark browser extension, helping prevent misinformation, impersonation, and unauthorized disclosures.

To verify a post, users can:

  1. Install the free SureMark browser extension

  2. View any signed post from the above executives

  3. Instantly confirm the content’s origin and integrity

“The ability to cryptographically verify communications from our leadership represents an additional critical step in combating potential AI deepfakes, impersonation, and misinformation—threats that are increasingly prevalent in our digital landscape. With the SureMark Digital browser extension, users can experience firsthand how the foundational principles of blockchain are being applied to protect digital identity and communication authenticity,” said Dino Cataldo Dell’Accio, Deputy-Chief Executive, UNJSPF.

This pilot reflects UNJSPF’s leadership in adopting new tools that secure digital communications while protecting individual privacy and is currently focused on executive-level content originating from the LinkedIn accounts of Rosemarie McClean (Chief Executive) and Dino Cataldo Dell’Accio (Deputy-Chief Executive). In the coming weeks, UNJSPF may expand usage across more channels, including broader organizational content.
