SureMark Digital is an online services company that allows high-visibility individuals to establish and protect their digital identity. The service first verifies your identity, then issues a credential allowing you to authorize official digital content. Thereafter, anyone on the Internet can easily and freely validate whether a given audio, video, image, or text file is approved by you. This reduces both the likelihood that you will be the subject of an AI deepfake attack, as well as the potential damage of such an attack should it occur.

W. Scott Stornetta, Chairman
Dr. W. Scott Stornetta is considered by many to be the co-inventor of blockchain technology. From 1991, his pioneering series of papers and patents, written with Dr. Stuart Haber, laid the foundation for Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
Stornetta is a partner at Yugen Partners, a blockchain and AI-focused venture capital firm, and a fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab, associated with the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He currently serves as chairman of SureMark Digital Identity Services.

Stuart Haber, Cryptographic Advisor
Stuart Haber is a cryptographer, best known as the co-inventor of the blockchain technique for ensuring the integrity of digital data. His work has bridged pure research and practical cybersecurity over the course of a 35-year career spent both at large established companies such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise, HP Labs, and Bellcore (Bell Communications Research), as well as at startups such as InterTrust and Surety -- which in 1995 deployed the world's first commercial blockchain as the foundation of the time-stamping service that he founded with his co-inventor, Dr. Scott Stornetta.
